A skill is a reusable set of instructions your Townie pulls in to handle a specific kind of task really well — a saved playbook for “how I do this.”

• When a task matches a skill, your Townie automatically follows that skill’s steps and conventions, so you get a consistent, expert-level result every time.
• Skills keep specialized know-how in one place instead of you re-explaining it each time.
• They power both tasks and routines — anywhere your Townie does that kind of work, the skill makes it sharper.
• Example: a “meeting notes” writing skill that always captures decisions, action items, and owners in the same clean format — so every set of notes looks and reads the same.

Just ask your Townie to create one based on what you’re already doing, and it’ll use that skill automatically whenever it fits.
