Open Commitments Tracker

Open Commitments Tracker is a routine your Townie AI assistant runs weekly: it scans your sent email and meeting notes for promises you made, checks your sent mail and calendar for evidence you followed through, and sends one reminder listing only the commitments still open — who you owe, what you said, and when.

See it work: the promises you'd otherwise forget

Never quietly drop something you promised

  1. It runs when the week closes

Friday afternoon or Sunday evening, your Townie sweeps the week — written promises in sent email, spoken ones in meeting notes and transcripts.

  2. It checks before it nags

For every commitment it finds, it looks for evidence you already followed through — sent replies, booked calls, delivered docs. Kept promises get dropped, not flagged.

  3. You get only what's still open

One reminder, ranked by who's owed and how overdue: the person, the promise, and when you made it. Follow up in one reply each.

Open Commitments Tracker FAQ

It's a routine your Townie AI assistant runs weekly: it scans your sent email for written promises and your meeting notes for spoken ones, checks whether you already followed through, and sends one reminder listing only the commitments still outstanding — who you owe, what you promised, and when you said it.

No. The reminder comes to you and only you — it never sends follow-ups on your behalf. It reads only the accounts you connect, and access is scoped to you. Read more in our security overview.

Your email and calendar cover the written promises and the follow-through check. Add a meeting-notes source like Granola, Fathom, or Fireflies and it catches the commitments you make out loud — usually the ones you're most likely to forget.

It looks for evidence: a sent reply on the thread, a calendar invite for the call you promised, a doc that went out. If it can't find proof either way, it flags the commitment and says so, rather than guessing.

Yes — tighten it to external promises only, add specific people whose asks always matter, or exclude casual 'I'll take a look' remarks. One message to your assistant updates the routine.
